The 3rd annual Pennsylvania Gaming Congress was our biggest and best yet with total registration of 468 – an increase of 3% over 2006.

The conference had record sponsorship/exhibitor participation with all sponsorships and booth space completely sold out.

Governor Rendell broke major news during his keynote at the conference, pre-announcing a major deal that NHL Hockey franchise Pittsburgh Penguins are staying in Pittsburgh because of recent funds received from gaming dollars.

There were over 250 print media mentions from the conference itself, most of which were from the AP story from Rendell’s announcement regarding the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The conference’s first-time Racing Forum exceeded all expectations with more than 100 in attendance and we are proud to be continuing the event in 2008.
