The Project

The Carousel Bar is one of the latest design attractions to surface at Bally’s Atlantic City. The design team infused a vision of nostalgia and whimsy into this unique renovation project. With a subtle nod to timeless amusements found along the Atlantic City Boardwalk and its neighboring shore towns, the all-new lobby bar captures the essence of a carousel ride through its central feature—an elevated 24-seat rotating bar. Offering 360-degree views of the casino and adjacent areas, it’s the first of its kind in New Jersey. Every aspect of the design, from the color palette and warm wood tones to the custom curved lighting fixtures above the bar, ties into the local environment. The changing light displaces subtly nods to illuminated seaside carnival rides. The surrounding glass rail defines the space making it private yet visible, grabbing the attention of visitors while making the space feel exclusive. The overall design embraces a classic elegance with a modern twist to delight and immerses guests in a truly unique and playful experience.
