The Project

The High Rollers Dispensary, a new cannabis dispensary with a soon-to-open consumption lounge, has been meticulously crafted within the former casino floor of The Claridge. Designed by SOSH, this 10,000-square-foot, two-story venue offers a unique blend of luxury and nostalgia, capturing the opulence of a bygone casino era. The main floor, once home to an art gallery, has been transformed into an elegant dispensary featuring vintage chandeliers, custom illuminated displays, and green lacquered millwork, creating a refined and sophisticated ambiance. Adjacent to this, the former baccarat lounge has been reimagined as a VIP consumption space, the first of its kind in New Jersey. Here, visitors will experience a monochromatic green color palette, rich dark woods, and an illuminated backbar that evoke a moody, exclusive, and intimate atmosphere. The design also incorporates playful nods to playing cards, paying homage to The Claridge’s iconic 1920s casino style while infusing a contemporary and edgy cannabis culture. The renovations include a new entrance on the Pacific Avenue façade, featuring a classic yet modern canopy and marquee, complemented by a vibrant mural that seamlessly blends industrial hardlines with the dynamic, artistic flair found in Atlantic City's street art scene.
