The Project

This residential architectural project involved a modern exterior makeover of a three-story home in Longport, NJ. The objective was to achieve a sleek, contemporary aesthetic without major changes to the existing building form. The project included replacing all windows and doors with energy-efficient options, installing new wood siding with alternating patterns, and replacing a curved glass block wall with a large glass window-wall. Inside the home, the interior stairs were redesigned as a sculptural element, serving as a striking focal point that could be appreciated from both the interior and exterior. In the rear, the decks were altered, and a new pool was added to create an inviting outdoor space that harmonized with the modern design. The design team's successful revitalization of the home's exterior resulted in a fresh and sophisticated appearance that seamlessly blends with the surroundings, breathing new life into this stunning oceanside home.
