The Project

SOSH Architects was recruited to help keep Atlantic City secure by repurposing an old fire department office into the Atlantic City Public Safety Building Command Center. At 2,272 sq. ft., the Command Center is small and lean, but powerful. The center is packed with state of the art surveillance equipment, offering views of the entire city. Massive, wall mounted LCD television screens hang over seven stations. Demountable glass partitions add to the sleek, modern look of a command center designed for the future of urban law enforcement.
