The Project

Reflecting exponential growth in the city, ACS was faced with the need to aquire land and create a new campus to support its High and Middle Schools. Planning ranged from "big picture" concepts down to detailed design of each indicidual room, at all times focused on ccrafting collaborative environments to suit ACS's call for innovative teaching and curriculaum-based spaces that foster hands-on learning. The result was a plan to construct a new state-of-the-art, comprehensive Upper School facility with distinct yet integrated zones for each grade level. At the same time, the existing campus was planned for complete re-tooling to suit today's Elementary School needs.
