The Project

Blending the intimacy and exclusivity of The Bahamas with world-class accommodations became the inspiration behind the planning and design of this Caribbean resort master plan. Emerging from the turquoise waters of the Caribbean is a pristine out-island of the Bahamas that is home to miles of white sandy beaches. The design of this resort not only set out to capitalize on the oceanfront vistas, but also to strategically position the buildings to give the illusion of pulling the ocean waters into the resort. The plan is highlighted by two curvilinear hotel structures that fan out and welcome the Caribbean waters into the resort experience. At the juncture of both hotels is a modern indoor-outdoor Miami-style nightclub that infuses energy into the entire complex. Poolside Cabana Suites serve as overnight guest rooms and are strategically placed to provide division between the high-energy pool venue and a secondary pool that offers a more family-oriented experience. Drawing inspiration from the free-flowing waters of the Caribbean, the architecture utilizes subtle curves with strong forms and clean lines to assert its presence. High-end contemporary amenities, including expanded gaming area, new restaurant, spa, grab and go, and pool bar, are peppered throughout the resort to allow patrons to engage themselves in all that the resort has to offer.
