Stockton University Academic Building

The Project

The Stockton University Academic Building is the latest addition to the Stockton masterplan. The building is situated on a prominent parcel that is located at the entrance to Atlantic City, helping to redefine the urban landscape. This three-story structure is programmed with generous lobby space, a multifunction event room, as well as an indoor/outdoor dining area on the first floor. The spaces are open to the public and help to strengthen the university’s initiatives to foster healthy community relations. The upper levels contain classrooms and administrative space, as well as student lounge to encourage student and faculty interaction. The exterior material palette creates a new campus identity for the university through the use of durable limestone at the base, and terra cotta panels above. The interior palette brings a beautiful balance of natural materials and colors with bold use of color.
