The Project

The team at SOSH Architects was tasked with designing a five-story, mixed use residential complex with 250 apartment units, privatized parking, a community pool, outdoor communal spaces and retail shopping venues in the South Inlet Section of Atlantic City. Low flood elevation meant the entire complex had to be designed six feet up from grade. The retail space takes advantage of prime frontage on Atlantic Avenue, a major Atlantic City thoroughfare. The residential portion of the project features contemporary townhomes with direct street-front access, topped by apartments with a four-story stacked layout. The design aesthetic is new, exciting and appealing to the local urban residential market. Many of the upper units feature amazing vistas from their balconies or expanses of window walls.
